ABOUT US
Justin Short is a nationally certified and licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner and has been practicing since 2008. He attended and graduated from the Southwest Acupuncture College's Boulder Campus with a Master's of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2011. After that, he moved back home to the northern Virginia area where he currently lives with his wife and three daughters, and has been praticing continuously for the past 15 years. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Virginia Tech.

He has taught acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and supervised student clinics at the graduate level as an instructor at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in Fairfax, Virginia and King's Park University in Alexandria, Virginia.

Justin has also been studying, training, and teaching the internal martial arts of Tai Chi, Xinyi, and Bagua for the past 25 years, and is a certified instructor and has earned his sixth degree Black Belt.

Justin believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. His goal in treatment is to allow your body to better heal itself by figuring out what is getting in the way, and fixing that. These beliefs led to the decision to practice Chinese medicine through which Justin is able to work with each person to help become them the best version of themselves.
