It is that back-to-school time of year again, and that can be particularly stressful for parents, students, and teachers. This is a great article from Psychology Today discussing the benefits of acupuncture on anxiety, depression, and stress. Often times our bodies get stuck in a “fight of flight” stress response and acupuncture has been shown to reduce that by helping the body self-regulate properly. This means you get better and stay better long term. Whether you are on medication but still do not feel right, want to safely get off medication, or wish to avoid them in the first place, acupuncture and Chinese medicine offers a safe and effective alternative.
